To create and produce a video piece to promote the work done by the partnership of Cricket Leinster and the Lord's Taverners Ireland organisations to make cricket accessible to children of all physical and mental abilities. The purpose of the video would be to reach out to new schools and clubs.
Solution
A 5 minute promotional video was created to illustrate the positive effects to recipients of the organisations work. The video piece was produced to have three different endings targeted to inspire and motivate viewers to different calls to actions that help achieve the organisations goals.
A table cricket tournament was held in a Dublin School where Cricket Leinster Development Officers work with children of all abilities. A film crew recorded the event, interviewing development officers, school teachers and recipients of the programme.
Results
An engaging video to promote the work of both organisations that invites new members, schools, volunteers and clubs to get involved. The video was narrated by Bryan Dobson and aided both organisations in raising donations and new members in the Christmas appeal.
